Sometimes it happens that you buy a game out of curiosity, at it gives fruit. This is one of those games. Breach & Clear is a clever game, made to show you how complex and how much detail you must attend to for short operations on 6 seconds or more.
To start with, you need to choose a Squat:

  • Navy Seals (chief special operations force) (my choice)
  • Army Rangers (highly mobile light infantry)
  • Army SF (Premiere unconventional warfighters)
  • JTF2 (Canada elite counter terrorism unit)
  • SAS (Special Air Service)

Each squat brings specialization in Accuracy, Reaction, Health, Speed and Evasion. And from those basic points you’ll be leveling up your soldiers as you progress. An awesome game I think, I haven’t been in war, but it feels realistic and easy to play. Each mission comes with 3 difficulty levels and will be able to play again and again.
When you as the general made the squat, weapons, armors, items. Then the breach begins! Each mission has a couple of starting points, and you can choose to breach from more point at the same time, but at the cost of splitting your 4 man team. Even here you can choose dramatic entrance by kicking the door open, shoot it with a shotgun, or use explosives to also damage whatever is standing on the other side of the door.
The operation is really fast, and it’s presented as a turn based strategy, giving the player all the time he needs to make the right decisions. And when you see the playback, the video will only record every moving turn, making the whole breach fast and smooth, like it was a real operation.
This is one of the first titles I really see functioning on IOS, and I must say Mighty Rabbit nailed it. Definitely a game worth playing!
